Thigh Lift
First, try exercise and healthy weight loss.
If that does not helped you achieve your goal for a firmer, more proportionate body image, it could be time to consider a surgical thigh lift, that reshapes the thighs–often times giving you a better lower body silhouette.
Who is a good candidate for thigh lift surgery?
Your weight is relatively stable.
You have excess soft tissue along the inner or medial thigh
region and/or the outer thigh.
You do not have medical conditions that can impair healing
or increase risk of surgery.
You don’t smoke.
You are realistic about what this surgery can accomplish.
You lead a healthy lifestyle with proper fitness and nutrition.
Where are the incisions placed?
Depending on your individual needs, incisions can be placed in the groin and run along the inside of the thigh or extend from the groin around the hip.
Following a thigh lift, the appearance and feel of your skin quality is dramatically improved. Your things will look smoother and tighter almost immediately, but hidden by initial swelling and bruising.
You may be required to wear a compression garment for several weeks following your procedure to minimize swelling and support the tissues while they heal.
Please note: Thigh lifts are not intended strictly for the removal of excess fat. If your skin has good elasticity and can adapt to your new contours, you may want to consider liposuction to remove excess fat deposits. If you have poor skin elasticity, a combination of liposuction and thigh lift techniques may be recommended.
